Day Seven

FREEDOM

Letting go of what I’m not and leaning into who I am...that’s freedom. Terrifying, wonderful, awe inspiring freedom. Being free to be totally me, unapologetically, no holding back...that’s freedom. Accepting love from others in the same way...that’s freedom. But the beauty of freedom is in the choice. We can choose in every moment how we want to live. Lean into love, lean into who you are and be free in whatever brings you joy.

LYRICS

FREEDOM

(Rich Price/Brian Chartrand)

If you need a sign, baby

I’ll raise the flag up

All my defenses

Are overcome

Gone is the dark now

And the bad blood

And the fever

That had me down

You came at daybreak

And brought the sun rise

You left when the moonlight

Was still burning strong

Let my guitar make up for my white lies

I got the truth right here in my song

When your heart feels right

You shine from the inside

Just a song that I sing

Freedom to let the light in

Freedom to hold you tight

Freedom with eyes wide open

Freedom from the long hard night

I’ve been laughing on my way back up

I can see my luck has changed

You came in and the sun came out

I can see that my luck has changed

When your heart feels right

You shine from the inside

When your heart feels right

You shine from the inside

A song that everybody sings

Freedom to let the light in

Freedom to hold you tight

Freedom with eyes wide open

Freedom from the long hard night
